The pharmaceutical manufacturing facility is situated on a land area of about 12,482 square meters. The factory and laboratories consist of the main manufacturing building for ActRx TriAct® medical products and the drug discovery building where medical research labs will continuously provide support to the operation. The building complex shall occupy a total floor area of 10,290 square meters including the 1,525 square meters allocated to drug discovery building.

The ActRx TriAct® medical products shall be manufactured using a fully automated mixing, heating, filling, and capping system. It shall also include automated tray forming lines and pick and place robotics, supported by a high speed cartoning, labeling and case packing machines,. All systems shall be fully compliant with GMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) standards.

Both the raw materials storage areas and automated production rooms shall meet clean room standards up to class 1,000 containing a total area of about 3,641 square meters. The raw materials storage rooms shall be equipped with an automated material handling system reducing the risk of human error in material transfers. The drug discovery building shall include six (6) laboratories classified up to Bio-Safety Level 3 (BSL-3) standards.

The entire complex shall be installed with 100% energy backup equipment, automated filtered water supply system, and fire sprinkler protection system. The entire manufacturing plant shall be equipped with a 24-hour CCTV monitoring system and organization wide biometric and facial recognition access security system. The fire and life safety system shall be integrated with the security system aided by video analytics management software for optimum protection.

The company shall use a comprehensive information technology infrastructure utilizing the CISCO network systems, installing its own NEC enterprise vault hard drive storage system, applying VMware’s virtualization technology, including the McAfee Enterprise mobility management system and HP thin client computing with a secondary backup hardware protection.

The organization aims to lead compliance with the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green building standards through the installations of an LED lighting system, solar power energy, IT virtualization and a thin client server system, an automated reactor capacitor bank, a used water recycling system, power, water, & air quality monitoring systems, use of low emitting materials in construction, 100% tobacco-smoke control, and utilization of high energy, high efficiency machines and equipment throughout.
